From raw photo to SEO-ready image
ImgSEO doesn't just generate SEO text and hope a plugin remembers it — it writes that data directly into the image file itself, via EXIF and XMP, so it travels with the file to Google, Shopify, or Etsy. Here's the full pipeline, from upload to export.
HOW IT WORKS
How ImgSEO works
Upload Images
Drag & drop your product images. We support JPG, PNG, WebP and more.
AI Optimization
Our AI analyzes your images and generates optimized titles, alt text, filenames and tags.
Compress & Enhance
We compress and enhance your images without sacrificing quality.
Written Into the File
SEO data is embedded directly in the image via EXIF or XMP — not a separate database.
Export Everything
Download optimized images or export data in ZIP or CSV format.
STEP 01
Upload Images
Drag and drop product photos straight from your computer, or pull them in bulk from Shopify, Etsy, or WooCommerce. JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF are all supported.
STEP 02
AI Optimization
Our AI looks at each image and writes SEO-ready titles, alt text, filenames, and tags — tuned to the platform you're selling on, not generic boilerplate.
STEP 03
Compress & Enhance
Images are resized and re-encoded with Sharp to cut file size without visible quality loss, so pages load faster without you touching a single slider.
STEP 04
What makes ImgSEO differentWritten Into the File
Most SEO tools store your titles, alt text, and tags in a plugin's database, tied to that one platform. ImgSEO embeds them directly inside the image binary — as EXIF fields for JPEG, and as an XMP packet for WebP and AVIF. The metadata becomes part of the file.
That means it survives a re-upload, a platform migration, or a download-and-reshare — the file carries its own SEO data wherever it goes, including into Google Images' own indexing, without any plugin in the loop.
- EXIF (Title, Description, Alt Text, Author, Copyright) for JPEG
- XMP packet for WebP and AVIF, where EXIF support is inconsistent
- Reads correctly on Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, and Google Images
- No plugin, no database row, no risk of the metadata getting orphaned
STEP 05
Export Everything
Download the optimized images individually, as a ZIP, or export all the generated SEO data as a CSV — ready to hand to a developer or import somewhere else.
